What is a one page web site?
A one, or single page website is a website that consists of just one page. However, this page can contain text, graphics, links to other sites such as Facebook and Twitter, plus contact details.
What if I need more pages in time?
Many of our clients start off with one page and eventually add more. We use a flexible platform which allows more pages and content to be added in time. Many of the sites on our main page at 1simple started off as one page sites.
What do you need from me?
As a minimum, we need some basic information about your business, such as the nature of your product or services, some description and contact details, plus opening hours if appropriate. If you have ideas for images we can use then we can do so. If you have existing business cards or letterhead paper, we can get some design cues from these.
Are there any extras?
Our standard package gives you a single page, plus a .uk domain name and a year’s hosting. You don’t need anything else to be up and running on the web, however if you do want to do something a little different just let us know and we’ll give you a competitive quote.
Can you use my existing designs?
We can incorporate existing pictures, artwork and PDF documents, but please note that individual fonts cannot be displayed on a web page unless the user also has them installed on their system. This is a limitation of HTML compared to PDF.
